Lessons from this week

I’ve come to realise that in the work environment, not everyone that smiles with you will be kind to you when faced with an issue. Everyone seems to want to throw you under the bus once your department has to face a really critical issue. I’m in the heart of most technology decision making, so you can understand how annoying this can be. However, in all, I remember that “God is faithful” and will always keep his own.

At times when those I seem comfortable with,
Throw me to the fire and expect me to fail
When those I confide in become my nightmares
I remember the God of the universe
My personal saviour who gives a verse,
In the time of my worse nightmare
I can count on him though I may be frail
His support me fresh breath.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
[Joshua 1:9, NIV]
