Life gave a meaning

Last weekend was full of emotions for me
I watched tears flow the faces of loved ones I now call family
Gone beyond the man I knew was so kind and very much loved by many people because he touched lives.
That moment, each minute began making a meaning

I never considered life in its depth, till right before me, one I knew had gone before us
Then I knew that nothing, absolutely nothing is worth my sweat here on earth if Christ is not in it.
A life without Christ is worthless and will die hopeless
I encourage you dear reader to live everyday like your last and one day you’ll be right but make sure you have Christ right in the heart of your “everyday”.

A poem I wrote for the funeral of Pa Samuel Mbadugha

When we get on the queue
And our name on the list
It will feel like morning dew
The feeling of energy yet moist
When the hour passes on
Those with no hope weep
Christ in us, we walk on
Angels smile as we beep
When we get to the gate
We know it was worth it
All our toils and worries abate
His words we didn’t doubt
Each time a sleep arises
It is God reminding us of time
Time spent to spiritually arise
Soon there’ll be no time
Now as we bade farewell
Though tears brim our eyes
We know, soon, all will be well
We’ll all meet when time flies
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. [1 thess. 4:13, KJV]
