Last weekend was full of emotions for me
I watched tears flow the faces of loved ones I now call family
Gone beyond the man I knew was so kind and very much loved by many people because he touched lives.
That moment, each minute began making a meaning
I never considered life in its depth, till right before me, one I knew had gone before us
Then I knew that nothing, absolutely nothing is worth my sweat here on earth if Christ is not in it.
A life without Christ is worthless and will die hopeless
I encourage you dear reader to live everyday like your last and one day you’ll be right but make sure you have Christ right in the heart of your “everyday”.
A poem I wrote for the funeral of Pa Samuel Mbadugha
When we get on the queueAnd our name on the listIt will feel like morning dewThe feeling of energy yet moistWhen the hour passes onThose with no hope weepChrist in us, we walk onAngels smile as we beepWhen we get to the gateWe know it was worth itAll our toils and worries abateHis words we didn’t doubtEach time a sleep arisesIt is God reminding us of timeTime spent to spiritually ariseSoon there’ll be no timeNow as we bade farewellThough tears brim our eyesWe know, soon, all will be wellWe’ll all meet when time flies
