Diary · Grace

Anger but prayer

In the moment, as the words fly out
Daggers sent, heart beats
My words, soften with yours

When it pours and slams,
It grows and lines arches
It boils and spills —–

Just before then, let it stop
Your cross and I my vision
Your words of grace I desire

May my desire become of you
That you be pleased —-
A praying tongue replace

Beyond the anger, your face
Mercy pleading, I see
To show others your love
