Diary

I love you

Your pain, a joy in few hours

From joy to work,

You had to redo what was done

Even more work,

Running miles across cities

Going to places of no interest

But for me you did it.

Life out grew itself into life

Then from my mouth it spilled

Things not intended,

It did hurt however,

The look in your eyes,

Was parallel to your heart,

From your lips came forth

“I love you”

Never understanding you

Life outgrew life

Then in few years,

I sit back reminiscing

It was all for me.

I now understand those words

And I wish I can express it more.

No doubt in my heart,

For the time, money and efforts

Some of which didn’t yield a thing

but you did it without complaining

You did it out of love.

How can I say it better?

“I love you Mother”.
