1:7 – The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge.

Why am I writing this too? Isn’t that already in the bible?”, I thought and kept my mouth shut. I kept writing and tried to listen too.

      To fear the Lord means to delight in his word, obeying his word and reverencing the Lord in his majesty. Running away from trouble is understanding.

"I think I know that too. Mum always said”, I snapped back to ‘listening mode’, Proverbs looked into my note and told me to personalise my notes. “argh! Okay”, I replied

1:9 – The words of our parents (instructions and warnings) are for our beauty. They are an added grace and all who come in contact with us will see this beauty. It is this instruction and the salvation of our soul that makes people see Christ in us. Christ gives an ultimate beauty in our soul.
