I woke up one morning after he asked me out on a date and thought I can never live without Proverbs. I really wanted a very good relationship with Proverbs. So I prayed and I knew God wanted me to have this exclusive and ‘unusual’ (as I saw it) relationship with Proverbs. I told Proverbs I was ready but in my heart I knew this ‘short’ date was going to be really long without communicating with my usual friends on Social networks.
I started out on the first day, Proverbs handed me a note and pen while we sat at the sea front watching children scream as they played in the sand, the waves lashing back and forth and the marvellous work of God up in the sky turning golden. It was more of a tutorial than anything else and I was expected to write down lessons as He taught. Proverbs began training my mind and soul and body to become the woman he wants me to be. I have highlighted my experience through this date with Mr Proverbs, each day I termed ‘Date-lecture’.
